How I started travelling

I'm Rafael and am 10. My family is travelling around Africa and other places. I have a seven-year-old brother. I am writing this blog as we go along. My idea is to give people the perspective of a child. I am frequently posting on trip adviser as @Raf_Around_the_World. I am writing this blog to encourage people to travel as it is a great thing to do. Some downsides are you do not get much time to yourself and you spent much of it in a car which is boring.

We ended up travelling because my dad got a new job in Switzerland. We had put the house on the market, and my parents had left their jobs. Six weeks before we were going to move, my dad’s job fell through, so we decided to travel in Asia. We had got our vaccinations and then the Zambian government gave my dad some work, so we came to Africa. Luckily most of the vaccinations are the same! We have not met many people who have not had similar situations to us. I believe people should travel, and countries like Malawi need the tourism. We would never had done this if Switzerland hadn’t happened, but I am glad we did!
